Sun Shore Construction is proud to unveil our latest bathroom remodeling project in Quincy, MA. This comprehensive renovation transformed an outdated space into a modern, functional, and luxurious bathroom, showcasing our expertise in high-quality home improvements.

Demolition and Preparation

The project kicked off with a complete demolition, removing the bathtub, shower valve, shower faucet, wall tiles, floor tiles, mirror, bathroom hardware, sink & vanity, toilet, and light fixtures. We preserved the existing drywall to set the stage for future enhancements.

Upgraded Plumbing and Electrical Systems

We installed a new shower valve and connected it to the water supply line, replaced the drain, and added a new GFCI outlet with updated wiring to the electrical panel. The light switch was replaced, and a new exhaust fan connected to a roof vent was installed to ensure proper ventilation.

Bathtub Installation and Waterproofing

A new left-hand drain bathtub was installed, complete with cement boards above the tub and thorough waterproofing to protect against moisture damage.

Elegant Tiling and Flooring

The walls above the bathtub and the bathroom floor were adorned with new tiles, meticulously installed and grouted for a polished and seamless look. This not only enhances the bathroom’s aesthetics but also ensures durability and easy maintenance.

Comprehensive Drywall and Vanity Updates

Necessary drywall repairs and replacements were made to provide a smooth finish. A new vanity was installed, including updated plumbing, faucets, and drain, adding both functionality and a modern touch to the bathroom.

Mirrors, Lighting, and Hardware

To enhance the bathroom’s usability and style, we installed a new light fixture, a 24” x 30” medicine cabinet, and modern bathroom hardware. These additions contribute to the bathroom’s cohesive and contemporary design.

New Toilet and Baseboards

A new toilet was installed to improve the bathroom’s efficiency. New baseboards were added to frame the space neatly and protect the walls.

Professional Painting

The bathroom’s ceiling, walls, doors, and trim/molding received a fresh coat of paint, revitalizing the space with a clean and modern look.

Window Relocation

To enlarge the shower space, we relocated the existing window, using either the previous window or a new one provided by the customer.
