The Transformation

The centerpiece of this renovation is a fully tiled wet room — a large walk-in shower enclosure with a sliding frameless glass door in brushed nickel, large-format dark gray floor tile, and a linear floor drain. Inside the enclosure, a freestanding white soaking tub sits against the tile wall, creating the spa-like experience the homeowners were looking for. Floor-to-ceiling horizontal tile in alternating gray and white tones lines the walls, with a multi-function hand shower, rain head, and built-in shelf completing the setup.

Outside the shower enclosure, the same large-format dark gray floor tile continues seamlessly throughout the room — creating a unified, expansive feel. A gray shaker vanity with a white veined countertop, brushed nickel hardware, and a three-globe vanity light bar brings warmth and function to the space. A classic cast iron radiator — restored and refinished — was preserved as a nod to the home’s character.

Fresh white walls, a new toilet, updated ventilation, and recessed ceiling lighting finish the renovation. Every element was designed to work together — the result is a bathroom that feels both luxurious and completely livable.
