Bathroom & Laundry Room Renovation in Waltham, MA | Sun Shore Construction
Two Rooms, One Renovation — Waltham, MA
The homeowners at this Waltham property had two rooms that needed attention: a dated bathroom that hadn’t been updated in years, and a cramped laundry setup that made everyday chores more frustrating than they needed to be. Rather than patch one and ignore the other, they chose to renovate both at the same time — the smart move when walls and floors are already being touched.
Sun Shore Construction handled both spaces together, delivering a bathroom that feels fresh and polished every morning, alongside a laundry room that finally works the way it should.

The Transformation
The bathroom got a complete overhaul. Out went the old vanity and worn flooring. In came a spacious new vanity with plenty of storage drawers and cabinet space, topped with a clean, modern countertop. New large-format floor tiles were installed throughout, giving the bathroom a bright, seamless feel from wall to wall.
The lighting received the same attention. Elegant wall sconces flanking the mirror fill the vanity area with soft, even light — far better than the single overhead fixture that used to struggle to illuminate the room. Recessed ceiling lights add depth. A new toilet, fresh paint on the walls, updated hardware throughout — every detail was considered.
The laundry room was renovated in parallel. Matching tile flooring creates a unified feel across both spaces. Fresh walls and a built-in shelf above the machines provide organized storage — a simple addition that makes a significant difference in day-to-day use.
The result is two rooms that feel like they belong together, finished with dark hardware that runs consistently through both spaces for a cohesive, intentional look.
