I highly recommend Eric and his team for home renovation projects. Couldn't have asked for a better contractor to work with. Scope of project: Bathroom renovation, kitchen backsplash install, balcony tile install. From the start, Eric was respectful of my home. I walked several different contractors to bid the renovation project and Eric was the only one who took his shoes off before entering my home. He was also the only contractor that showed up exactly on time, not a minute late. First impressions are important! Before starting construction, Eric meticulously laid out protection for the floor and matted the work area to ensure that the floor remained clean. During construction he gave great suggestions on paint color matching and tile layout. His attention to detail is exceptional. There were times that Eric noticed small issues in my home that was outside the scope of the renovation project. He offered to help fix the issues without bumping up the original quoted amount. The workmanship quality is top notch, my balcony is arch shaped and required a lot of tile cuts. Eric took care tile by tile to ensure that the edge matched up as seamlessly as possible. The estimate provided was spot on, and very competitive. The project schedule proposed was also very accurate. I'm glad to have found Sun Shore Construction and Eric's team. I'll be sure to hire them again for future projects!

Kitchen review: We invited Sun Shore Construction back to renovate our small kitchen. They installed everything but the countertops & lighting in their existing locations. The old kitchen down to the subfloor were removed. Cement board/Ditra/self-leveling cement/thinset & tiles went down giving us a nice flat floor. Outlet boxes were replaced and installed at standard height. New outlets under the sink and one for the range hood were installed. The 30" sink base cabinet was meticulously cut onsite for the 30" farmhouse sink with inconspicuous support as well as support framing for the countertop in the corner dead space. They pitched the sink drain with a clean out and neatly moved the gas supply valve for the range to a better location. Wallboard was put up and skim coated smooth. They even patched holes in the ceiling and textured them to match the rest of the ceiling, demonstrating their method to boot! Cabinets were installed and base cabinets leveled so well, no shims were necessary when the countertops were installed! New range was installed with a 60 inch flex line. Baseboards trimmed perfectly to conform to the floor and threshold. We kick ourselves for turning down their offer to install an outlet to the left of the range, which would have made that wall more aesthetically symmetrical. Think hard when declining their offers/suggestions for your project. Had the new outlet boxes not been installed at their proper height, the four inch tall back splash wouldn't have fit. They took the time and effort to screw down the existing subfloor to eliminate any chances of squeaking. They installed the new range with a 60 inch flex line to eliminate the need to climb over the counter to disconnect/reconnect the range in the future, which allowed us to easily reset the range height after the countertops were installed; their foresight much appreciated. They did a few extra things for us outside of the kitchen project like replacing a worn shutoff valve, giving us an attractive escutcheon we didn't have before, in our spare bathroom and securing water lines to prevent water hammering. They communicate well, explain things, are efficient & reliable, and listen well. As long as what we wanted were clearly communicated to them, they were eager to make it happen. They work really hard, are super efficient and they keep the project area clean and organized. Thanks guys! ______ Bathroom review: We believe no one will do a better job than we would for our home. Eric and his team's level of quality and attention to detail is at least as high as our own expectations of ourselves, which challenges our belief. The numerous positive reviews are real and we had the privilege to experience it with a near total gut and remodel of our main bathroom, our first time having a contractor work inside our house. We have been spoiled and the bar has been set very high. Honest, hard working, respectful of our property, knowledgeable and willing to share suggestions and recommendations make them great for us to partner with to make the project go smoothly. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and addressed. Any decisions that would involve us, we were asked. We should mention the vanity shelf, shower niche, shower floor, and the threshold the Vigo shower doors sit on were custom made, and made very well, by Eric and his team. They also went above and beyond numerous times such as picking up our glass shower door system and vanity with basin orders for the project, and purchasing materials we were not familiar with or aware of, which saved us time and money. They even went to several stores to look for, and successfully found, matching mosaic marble tiles because the ones we picked up didn't quite match nor match up to their standards and wanted our new bathroom to look as perfect as possible. It was such a pleasure to work with them and are very happy with the result and the great experience. We will be contacting them for our next project.
