Bathroom Renovation in Westwood, MA | Navy Vanity, Walk-In Shower & Gold Fixtures
A Bold Choice That Paid Off — Westwood, MA
When the homeowners at this Westwood property decided to renovate their bathroom, they knew they wanted something different. Not another beige vanity, not another builder-grade shower. They wanted character. They came to Sun Shore Construction with a vision — and we brought it to life.
The result is a bathroom that stops you in your tracks: a deep navy vanity paired with warm gold hardware throughout, a custom walk-in shower with a built-in bench and shelving, and tile work that tells a complete design story from floor to ceiling.

The Transformation
The navy vanity is the anchor. Paired with a warm white countertop and brushed gold faucet and drawer pulls, it creates an immediate sense of intention — this wasn’t a random choice, it was a design decision. A framed mirror and wall sconce complete the vanity wall with a warm, hotel-quality glow.
The walk-in shower is where the renovation truly shines. White wall tiles run floor to ceiling, accented by a distinctive penny tile mosaic floor in a blue-grey palette that picks up the navy of the vanity and ties the room together. A built-in bench and multiple recessed shelves add everyday convenience without breaking the clean look of the design. The gold hardware — shower door, fixtures, and hand shower — runs consistently throughout and elevates every detail.
The sloped ceiling adds character rather than limitation — Sun Shore framed the shower to work with the architecture of the room, not against it. New floor tile, fresh walls, updated exhaust, and new lighting complete the package. Every inch of this bathroom was built to last and designed to impress.

It was such a pleasure to work with Eric and Danny. They are professional, transparent, efficient, responsible, considerate, always on time and extremely easy to communicate with. With Eric and his team's magic touch, our 90-year-old small bathroom transformed into a more modernized one within 3 weeks, also on our budget as well. They are respectful to both the house and our ideas. The floor and the stairs were well protected during the renovation. They gave us ideas and advices while fully considering ours. More important, especially to us who have rare experiences of renovation, they always gave us quick responses and let us know in advance for the next steps, which made us feel the whole process was on the track. I appreciate Eric for being our contractor and the effort Eric and Danny have made for us. I would definitely ask them to do our kitchen and basement renovations in the future.

I hired Eric for a full update of my bathroom including converting the bath tub to a walk-in shower. Eric and his assistant Danny did an amazing job in spite of the challenges they faced (unlevelled floors/walls...due to the age of the house). The shower tiles and floor tiles came out smooth and beautiful. It was a pleasure working with them, they are on time, considerate and accommodating. The communication was easy, they always discuss with us and offer suggestions in case something unexpected happened. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone. I feel lucky to have found them for my project.

Eric was very responsive and respectful. He made sure to protect the floors when going in and out of the bathroom he was working on. We appreciated his attention to detail and knowledge. Would highly recommend!
