Custom Composite Deck Installation by Top Deck Builder in Needham, MA
Custom Composite Deck Installation in Needham, MA
Sun Shore Construction recently completed a striking outdoor transformation at a home in Needham, MA. This project involved a full deck renovation—including complete structural rebuilding, an extended layout, and modern composite decking—to create a beautiful, durable outdoor living space for the homeowner.
We started by removing the existing deck and rebuilding the frame from the ground up with added structural support through additional footings and posts. The newly expanded layout features a wider footprint with three custom staircases, each with its own concrete landing. For safety and convenience, child- and pet-friendly gates were installed at the top of each staircase.
The standout feature of this project is the use of premium composite decking, offering a woodgrain look with weather resistance and minimal maintenance. The deck is bordered by stylish black aluminum railings that add both safety and modern appeal.
Project highlights include:
- Full deck demolition and complete structural rebuild
- Deck expansion with custom design layout
- Three new staircases with concrete landings and safety gates
- Durable, low-maintenance composite decking
- Powder-coated modern railings for added safety and style
This Needham project exemplifies our commitment to quality craftsmanship, client-focused design, and functional elegance.

Strongly recommend Eric if you are looking for someone to help remodel your bathroom. He is super professional and responsible. What impressed me most is that he is always trying to get things done perfectly even that would take longer time, instead of expediting the project. The bathroom remodeling work took around 3 weeks but I am very thankful for his team's dedicated and amazing work! Next time if I plan to do some other renovations, his team will be my first choice.

I recently had Sun Shore Construction install my shower sliding glass door and I couldn't be happier with their work. The team was professional, communicated well, and made the installation process seamless. I appreciated their attention to detail and commitment to quality. Overall, I highly recommend Sun Shore Construction for anyone in need of their services.

We hired eric to rebuild our bathroom. We want to combine the closets in separate rooms and make it a new bathroom. Eric got the idea and help us perfecting the plan. He is efficient in communication and always responds so fast. He finished the job in less than two weeks which is incredible, and the job was beautifully done. I feel that the team respect me and my house, they put cloth on the floor and got covers on the furniture to prevent them from all the dirt and dust. They communicate well about their view about the size of the cabinets - what is too big what is ok etc. They give you advice but also respect your choice. The price is pretty reasonable too!!! I have heard so many stories about how the contractor could slow down the work and charge more by hours. Eric and his team are just so good. Very honest people. Everything crystal clear. The most importantly, the work is neat and professionally done! I would recommend them 100% without hesitation!
