Walk-In Shower Renovation in Newton Center, MA | Sun Shore Construction
When a Bathroom Becomes a Statement — Newton Center, MA
The homeowners at this Newton Center property didn’t just want a functional bathroom. They wanted something that felt intentional — a space that reflected care and style, not just utility. The old bathroom had done its job for years, but it was time for something better.
Sun Shore Construction delivered a complete transformation: a custom walk-in shower with a sleek glass enclosure, elegant new flooring throughout, and a vanity area that finally matches the quality of the rest of the home.

The Transformation
The centerpiece of this renovation is the custom walk-in shower — enclosed in a full-height black matte sliding glass door that brings a sharp, modern edge to the space. Inside, white wall tiles run floor to ceiling, accented by a decorative niche with a patterned tile inset that adds an unexpected moment of artistry. The shower floor features small hexagonal mosaic tiles — textured, practical, and beautiful.
Step outside the shower and the same level of care continues. Large-format floor tiles in a clean white-and-grey palette flow seamlessly across the entire bathroom, giving the space a polished, expansive feel. The vanity was completely redone — a fresh white cabinet with warm-toned hardware and a round framed mirror that softens the geometry of the room.
New lighting, a fresh coat of paint in a soft neutral tone, updated fixtures throughout — every element was chosen to work together rather than simply coexist. The result is a bathroom that looks like it belongs in a boutique hotel, but built for the everyday comfort of the family that lives here.
